Job summary

The Maschhoffs seeks a Part-Time Animal Caregiver to join our Arapahoe, NE area operations. Responsibilities include feeding, health treatments, assisting with birthing, and day one care for swine under veterinary guidance.

You will monitor animal health, perform essential vaccination/administered treatments, and uphold biosecurity and environmental standards while maintaining production records. GED or HS diploma preferred with experience in agriculture.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• One year of animal care or agricultural experience a plus.
• Knowledge of basic biosecurity principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert animal care including feeding, watering, health treatments, and day one care.
• Monitor animal health and behavior; promptly address issues.
• Administer vaccinations/medications under Vet guidance.
• Maintain biosecurity and safety practices; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain production records and environmental safeguards.
• Clean and disinfect animal housing and facilities.
