Job summary

The Maschhoffs is seeking an Animal Care Associate to provide expert care for pigs, including feeding, watering, health treatments, and day-one care. You will monitor health, administer vaccines under vet guidance, and maintain accurate records in a team environment.

Candidates should have a GED or better and high school diploma, with one year of animal care or agricultural experience preferred. The role emphasizes safety, biosecurity, and adherence to company values.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide expert animal care: feed, water, health treatments, artifical insemination support, and day one care.
• Monitor animal health and promptly address issues.
• Administer vaccines and medications under vet guidance.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow biosecurity protocols.
• Record production data accurately and maintain logs.
• Support environmental safeguards during production activities.
