Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Boar Stud Tech in Cameron, OK, reporting to Farm Manager. The role supports pork production on our farms, applying animal science to semen collection, vaccinations, feeding, and record-keeping.

The position requires lifting up to 80 lbs, standing most of the day, and working early shifts with weekend rotation. Compensation and benefits are provided, including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a team-oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work every other weekend.
• Able to stand/walk ~90% of the day.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to work early 1st shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Swine husbandry: feeding, watering, moving.
• Assist with Boar semen collection process.
• Handle and administer medications and vaccinations.
• Vaccinate and medicate boars.
• Clean and disinfect facilities, remove mortality and waste.
• Maintain records of animal production and veterinary products.
• Animal identification, ear tagging.
• Attend Safety training and ensure animal welfare compliance.
• Manage animal feeding and feeder operations.
• Identify and address basic maintenance needs (welding, plumbing, carpentry).
• Euthanize animals when needed.
• Housekeeping in animal housing, offices, labs.
