Job summary

G-III Apparel Group's DKNY Swim design team in New York City is seeking a Designer to support the development of a competitive swimwear line that balances commercial appeal with brand emotion.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with strong technical skills, PLM experience, and the ability to coordinate with Sales, Production, Fabric, and overseas factories.

This on-site role reports to the VP of Design, with a salary range of $75,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience in Women's Swimwear/Lingerie.

Responsibilities

• Report to and support Senior Designer and VP of Design.
• Research trend concepts for seasonal swimwear collections.
• Develop silhouettes, color stories, boards, and trims.
• Source fabrics with the Fabric Team based on market trends.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Fabric, Tech teams.
• Create line sheets and comment on style modifications.
