Njswimsa is seeking a Swim School Deck Manager to oversee daily operations across Morris County and surrounding areas. The role focuses on supervising swim classes, coordinating instructors, lifeguards, and coaches while enforcing safety protocols and a positive, engaging learning environment for swimmers of all ages.

The ideal candidate has a swimming background, strong leadership, and customer-service experience, with a passion for safety and encouraging athletic development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of front desk, customer service or administrative experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Punctual, organized and professional.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily swim lessons and oversee class transitions.
• Coordinate schedules for instructors, lifeguards, and coaching staff.
• Enforce safety policies and emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment.
• Assist with behavior management and motivate students to achieve their swimming goals.
• Support instructors in delivering engaging lessons with sports coaching elements such as karate, judo, or climbing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck area.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management to ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
