Oak View Group in Greensboro seeks a Competitive Meet Tech II to oversee electronic timing systems for swimming, diving, water polo, and synchronized swimming events from local to televised levels.

The role centers on setup, operation, maintenance, and quick troubleshooting of timing equipment, cables, and broadcast gear, with supervision of part-time staff. Open to full-time, with benefits and an hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–4 years of experience with timing systems and meet entry software/hardware.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Ability to oversee part-time staff during setup and events.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with CTS electronic timing system.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate electronic timing and judging equipment for meets.
• Maintain and repair equipment; manage cables and wiring.
• Assist in facility setup for events (signage, spectator areas).
• Operate timing/judging systems during events and troubleshoot as needed.
• Oversee part-time staff and train meet technicians.
• Handle sound setup, scoreboard graphics, and on-screen messages.
• Post-event teardown and restore facility to non-event status.
