Job summary

The City of Hampton Aquaplex seeks a Timing System Operator / Event Administrator to manage event data and operate timing systems, scoreboards, and related equipment during swimming, diving, and water polo competitions. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and monitor the equipment to ensure smooth, accurate results.

Responsibilities include handling meet data, coordinating with meet officials, and working flexible hours including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced aquatic environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of swim meet management and operation experience at a large venue.
• Thorough knowledge of Colorado Timing System Gen6 (Gen7 preferred).
• Experience with swim and dive meet management software; Hytek preferred.
• Safety sensitive position with substance abuse policy testing.
• Successful background check prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• Manage all event data and install, test, troubleshoot, and operate timing systems and scoreboards during events.
• Maintain and support equipment used in competitive swimming, diving, and water polo meets.
