Job summary

Town of Silverthorne is seeking a part-time Water Safety Instructor to teach swim lessons at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. You will deliver the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program and teach swimming and water safety to participants from infant to adult, in both group and private settings.

A Silverthorne Water Safety Instructor (WSI) can expect to work 2–15 hours per week depending on availability. Hiring range is $22.12 to $25.07 per hour, with a full pay range up to $29.49.

Qualifications

• Current Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR certificate preferred or must be obtainable within 3 months.
• Minimum age of 16 years.

• Teach swim lessons at the Silverthorne Recreation Center.
• Use the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program to teach swimming and water safety.
• Instruct participants ranging from infant (with parent) to adult, in group and private settings.

Description

Teach swim lessons at the Silverthorne Recreation Center! You will join a positive and passionate culture devoted to teaching a life-time skill to participants. We utilize the notable American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” program while teaching swimming and water safety to students that range from infant (with parents) through adult in both group and private settings. A Silverthorne Water Safety Instructor (WSI) can expect to work 2-15hrs per week depending on availability.

Hiring Range is: $22.12 to $25.07

Full Pay Range is: $22.12 to $29.49
