Job summary

Calhoun Aquatic Center seeks a part-time Swim Lesson Instructor to deliver engaging swim lessons and ensure student safety. Position offers hourly pay and variable work schedule. Applicants must be at least 15 years old and pass the Georgia background check; prior aquatic experience is preferred.

Teaching aids such as kickboards and life jackets will be used during instruction. Certification in Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old and pass the State of Georgia Criminal Background Check.
• Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to positively interact with the general public.
• Previous aquatic experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate skills in swim lessons instruction.
• Ability to demonstrate skills as required for class content and use teaching aids such as kickboards, diving rings, lifejackets, etc.
• Preferred Certifications: Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification (not required)
