• Implement swimming and water safety instructional programs; prepare and deliver technical guidance, age-appropriate and skill-focused lessons based upon participant abilities.
• Receive and respond to questions, concerns, and complaints from members; determine issues and resolve or refer to higher-level staff as appropriate.
• Provide aquatic safety and supervision for members.
• Work collaboratively with participants and aquatics staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Inspect and maintain swimming and pool equipment for functionality; ensure proper placement and availability in the pool area; recommend maintenance and repair as needed.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must be 16 years old of age.
• Prior swim lesson instructor experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification (we can provide).
• The ability to communicate well in person and on the phone.
• Light lifting (up to 30-50 lbs.).
• Prolonged standing in water.
