About the Role:

At British Swim School, we don’t just teach swimming—we ignite confidence, build life-saving skills, and make learning FUN! Our team is serious about saving lives, but we have a blast doing it. Think of us as a mix between lifesavers, cheerleaders, and role models all rolled into one!

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

1. Teaching students (as young as 3 months!) and adults how to swim using our proven, gentle, and engaging methods.
2. Bringing high energy and positivity to every lesson—you’ll be your students' biggest cheerleader!
3. Creating a safe, welcoming environment where kids feel encouraged to learn and grow.
4. Working in the water for your entire shift—this isn’t a dry, on-the-sidelines kind of job!
5. Engaging with families and keeping them updated on their swimmer’s progress.

If you’re energetic, patient, and love working with kids, this role is a perfect match. You don’t need to be an expert swimmer—we’ll train you! A background in any of the following fields translates well to this job:

• Camp Counselors & Youth Leaders
• Teachers & Early Childhood Educators
• Lifeguards & Swim Team Members
• Sports Coaches & Fitness Instructors
• Babysitters & Nannies
• Customer Service & Hospitality Workers (Retail, Restaurant, Front Desk, etc.)
• Performers, Dancers, & Entertainers

What You Need to Succeed:

• A fun, enthusiastic personality – We bring the energy every day!
• Comfortable in and around water – We’ll teach you the rest!
• A passion for working with kids – Their success will be your success!
• Reliability and teamwork – We support each other to create the best experience possible.
• Able to be on your feet in the pool for 4 hours at a time and occasionally assist in lifting kids.
• Bonus points if you have: Experience working with children or Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certifications (but not required).
