Requirements for Swim Instructors

As a swim instructor, you will teach students of all ages according to the British Swim School aquatics program. No need to be an expert initially; we provide training on our teaching methods. Here’s what we do need from you:

• You need to be a competent swimmer, ideally familiar with all four strokes and have an appreciation for water safety.
• You must love working with children and enjoy seeing their progress.
• You should be upbeat and ready to have fun at work; having fun is mandatory!
• This is a year-round position, and we seek long-term employees. It’s not a summer-only job.
• Availability to work weekend mornings (Saturday or Sunday or both) from 8:30 am to 2 pm.
• Ability to start weekday afternoons at 3:30 pm.
• Reliable transportation to any of our Waterford Lakes locations.
