Job summary

A community-focused organization is seeking a passionate swim instructor to teach swimming skills and ensure pool safety at the Tri Community Branch YMCA. Responsibilities include conducting swim lessons for various age groups and maintaining a safe pool environment. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain Water Safety Instruction certification. Part-time hours include weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends with pay starting at $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hold current Water Safety Instruction certification or be willing to become certified.
• One year of experience teaching swim lessons preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to diverse groups of people.
• Create a welcoming and safe pool environment.
• Report any issues with equipment to the Aquatics Director.
