Position Overview

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons at our Camp Thunderbird YMCA pool. This seasonal summer position offers starting pay at $14.00 per hour, with flexible hours up to 40 hours per week during the summer months.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to participants of all ages using various tools and techniques.
• Work with small groups to develop swimming skills, water safety, and promote YMCA core values.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred certifications include YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Ellis & Associates Lifeguard, or YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor (WSI), but not mandatory.
