Job summary

SafeSplash Swim Schools is seeking an enthusiastic Swim Instructor to deliver high-quality lessons on-site in New York. You will follow our proven curriculum, providing engaging instruction to students of all ages while upholding a safe environment.

Responsibilities include giving constructive feedback to students and parents, documenting progress daily, and ensuring timely class start and end times. Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends with at least 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of SafeSplash curriculum training within 30 days.
• Ability to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable around water and with children for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming using SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, engaging way.
• Provide ongoing, positive feedback to students and parents on progress.
• Maintain safety guidelines and proper class structure throughout lessons.
• Document student progression and class placements daily.
