We offer consistent, part-time hours, a set weekly schedule, and fully paid training, starting immediately at $16-20 per hour. It's a great option for an after-school or second job to stay active!

What will you be doing?

Swim Instructors are responsible for ensuring the success of swim lessons by:

1. Making sure you and your team are prepared for each lesson by reviewing your lesson materials and themes.
2. Teaching 4 swimmers per class using a well-established curriculum that covers water safety, swim, and swimplay skills (6 swimmers in infant, parent-and-me lessons).
3. Communicating progress and celebrating accomplishments with parents at the end of each class.
4. Lifeguarding and supervising lessons as needed.

You will guide new swimmers through their first days at Goldfish and support their progression from mini and junior swimmers to gliders and pros!

What will be expected of you?

• Availability for set lesson groups (no half-shifts or mid-shifts). Scheduled times include:
  • 9:00-1:00 and 4:00-8:00 Monday through Friday
  • 9:00-3:00 Saturday
  • 9:00-2:30 Sunday
  • Arriving 15 minutes before lessons for setup and pre-shift meetings.
• Work the same scheduled days weekly (e.g., every Monday from 4:00-8:00).
• Be patient, genuine, and adaptable — every swimmer learns at their own pace, and your personality is key to their success.
• Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members.
• Commitment to quality work and representing Goldfish Swim School’s mission to make a difference every day.
• Upholding integrity, compassion, and trust in all interactions.
