Position Overview

The Northside Family YMCA is seeking part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. We are looking for candidates with open availability. This part-time position starts at $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

1. Lead swim lessons for various age groups using a variety of tools and teaching techniques.
2. Work with small groups of students to teach swimming skills, basic water safety, and promote YMCA core values.
3. Maintain enthusiasm and energy, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred certifications include YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Ellis & YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor, or WSI. Certification can be obtained upon hire if not already certified.
