Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Swim Instructor to teach swimming to adults and children, assess swim levels, and promote aquatic programs. You’ll help maintain clean facilities and deliver life skills through swimming in a fast-paced club environment.

The role requires Lifeguard-related certifications and the ability to communicate with members about services, with wages starting at $16 and going up to $19 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass Life Time courses upon hire.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repetitively and up to more than 20 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area.
• Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services.
