As a Swim Instructor at the Wisconsin & Upper Michigan Division Salvation Army Kroc Center, you'll lead both group and private lessons, ensuring swimmers of all ages and skill levels progress and thrive in the water.
Lessons are held Monday - Thursday from 4:30 - 6:35 pm, Thursdays from 11 am - 1 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am - 12 pm. Flexible scheduling! Work as little as 1 shift a week if that fits your schedule. Pay rate is $15.53/hour, with an additional $1.00/hour for certified Lifeguards. Shift differential applies from 4:00 pm Friday to 6:00 pm Saturday.

At least 1 year of swim lesson experience with diverse ages and abilities is preferred.
American Red Cross Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED/First Aid (or equivalent) within 60 days of hire. Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is preferred.
Must be physically active in an aquatics environment, able to support children, and perform various physical tasks. Vision and hearing abilities are required.
Work primarily occurs in a busy, high-humidity pool environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and bodily fluids. Outdoor activities may expose employees to weather conditions. Noise levels can be moderate to loud.
