Job summary

British Swim School - South Orlando is seeking a dedicated swim instructor to teach lessons to children and adults using our gentle, progressive aquatics program. You will be assigned classes with schedules set by managers and will interact with swimmers and parents/guardians on a regular basis.

We offer paid training, opportunities for internal advancement, and a competitive hourly pay of $16.00–$18.00 with bonuses possible based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Comfortable in and around the water; strong swimming skills are a plus but can be taught.
• Must maintain certifications throughout employment.
• Must complete all required British Swim School Aquatics training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Instructs swimming lessons following British Swim School standards and maintains certifications.
• Reports to Aquatics Manager or Business Owner(s).
• Available during pool hours, including Wednesdays & Fridays and Sundays.
• Develops a class schedule with managers and interacts with swimmers and parents/guardians.
