Qualifications

• Must pass background examinations (included with training).
• Experience as a certified lifeguard or youth sports instructor preferred.
• Swimming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students on water safety and swim techniques.

• Evaluates students’ progress and completes paperwork.
• Interacts with parents on students’ swim skills.
• Inspects pool areas before and after each class.
