A leading company seeks Lifeguards and Swim Instructors to maintain safety and provide instruction at the pool. Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, saving individuals in danger, conducting water tests, and delivering first aid. Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years for Lifeguard role.
• Certifications: CPR-AED, Lifeguarding within 7 days of hire.
• AHA Basic Life Support or CPR for Swim Instructor within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enforces pool rules and rescues swimmers in danger.
• Tests water chemistry and maintains cleanliness of pool.
• Provides first aid and emergency care as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Skills
Lifeguard:
Minimum age of 16 years.

Certifications to include:
American Red Cross CPR-AED for Lifeguards within 7 days of hire.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding within 7 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:
Maintain a high level of physical fitness. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Must be able to demonstrate the following swimming skills:
Front crawl (Freestyle)
Breast Stroke
Any skill covered in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course

Required Skills
Swim Instructor:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross CPR certification required within one month of hire.
Starfish Aquatics Institute Swim Instructor certification required within one month of hire.

Must be proficient in swimming skills covered in Swim Instructor training.
