WeAquatics in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a Swim Instructor for the Embassy Suites Bethesda location. The role involves leading engaging lessons for individuals or small groups, developing personalized plans, and fostering a fun, safety-focused learning environment. Prior swim instruction is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient teaching style.
• Adaptability to different learning styles and needs.
• Genuine enthusiasm for water safety and teaching.
• Current lifeguard/CPR certifications (preferred).
• Previous swim instruction experience (helpful but not required).

Responsibilities

• Leading engaging one-on-one and/or small group lessons.
• Crafting personalized development plans for each swimmer.
• Creating fun, energetic learning environments that make water safety enjoyable.
• Providing encouraging feedback that builds skills and confidence.
• Maintaining safety protocols while fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Building meaningful relationships with students and their families.
