Job summary

SafeSplash Temple is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner. You will provide continuous, positive corrective feedback and structure class time to reinforce required skills, while prioritising swimmer safety.

Experience in swim instruction is preferred; certification in CPR/First Aid is welcomed, and training will be provided if needed to get certified within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching very young children and children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills following the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers.
• Structure class time to reinforce skills and maintain engagement.
• Ensure swimmer safety at all times.
