Position Details

This part-time position starts at $14.50 per hour. The Chickahominy Family YMCA is seeking enthusiastic and energetic swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. Instructors will work with small groups, teaching swimming skills, water safety, and YMCA core values using various tools and techniques.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred but not required: YMCA, American Red Cross, or Ellis Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications.
• O2 and additional training to be completed within the first 30 days of hire.
