YMCA of the East Bay in Berkeley is seeking a part-time swim instructor. You will provide direct leadership, instruction and motivation for swimming students, focusing on safety, confidence and healthy living.
The role requires CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid; YMCA Swim Instructor certification is preferred or equivalent. Availability includes Mon/Wed and Tue/Thu afternoons and Saturdays.

NO CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED.We will train you.However, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to swim in shallow and deep water, and tread water (Minnow or ARC Level 4 Swimming Level).
We are currently hiring part-time lifeguards and/or swim instructors. We are looking for adaptable, reliable, energetic individuals who can work 5-25 hours/week in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
