Job summary

Onelife Fitness is seeking a motivated Swim Instructor in Winchester, VA to deliver private, semi-private, and group lessons for members of all ages and skill levels.

You will tailor instruction to each swimmer, maintain a welcoming, safe pool environment, and help promote club programs. Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends is required; CPR/AED and lifeguard-like readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Swim instruction/coaching and/or work with children preferred.
• WSI, Lifeguard, and CPO certifications preferred.
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver private, semi-private, and group swim lessons for all ages and levels.
• Tailor instruction to swimmer goals and skill levels and answer questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe pool deck and enforce club policies.
• Promote programs and complete required paperwork, trainings, and meetings.
• Follow all safety and emergency procedures; adapt schedule as needed.

We’re looking for a Swim Instructor to deliver fun, safe, and effective private, semi-private, and group lessons for learners of all ages and levels.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience to every member, every time.


• Tailor instruction to each swimmer’s goals and skill level; answer questions before/after lessons.


• Create an educational, welcoming vibe while enforcing pool & club policies.


• Keep the deck spotless—reset equipment and maintain a clean, safe environment.


• Promote club programs and complete required paperwork, meetings, and trainings.


• Follow all service, facilities, and emergency procedures; flex to early mornings/evenings/weekends.

Position Requirements
