Job summary

A children's swim school is seeking an energetic Swim Instructor who loves working with children and swimming. Overview

Aqua-Tots Swim School is looking for an energetic Swim Instructor with a sincere love of children and swimming to join our team. This Onsite position offers a fun, energetic atmosphere and the opportunity to positively impact children by teaching them how to swim in a safe environment. The role includes working directly with students at our state-of-the-art facility and offering a competitive wage.

Starting pay is $18.50+/Hour.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop water safety skills and swimming abilities.
• Create and implement lesson plans; conduct group and individual lessons; provide constructive feedback to students and their parents.
• Ensure the safety of all participants in the pool area and maintain a clean and organized teaching environment.
• Track student swim progression throughout the levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Work 4-6 hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 classes back to back; be available to work one weekend shift from 8:30am-3pm (Saturday or Sunday).
• Participate in monthly in-service training and follow all Aqua-Tots procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Provide a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• No prior teaching experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; however, a passion for swimming, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with children are essential.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and classroom management.
• Be available for weekend shifts as noted above.
