Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking an energetic Swim Instructor to teach children how to swim in a fun, safe environment. This onsite role offers training, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay as you join a supportive team. No prior teaching experience is required, since comprehensive training is provided.

With a starting pay of $15.50+ per hour, you’ll help children progress through levels, while receiving bonuses, opportunities for extra shifts, and room to grow within a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• No prior teaching experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to teach 4–9 classes per shift and work weekend shift.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels.
• Create and implement lesson plans and conduct group and individual lessons.
• Ensure safety in the pool area and maintain a clean teaching environment.

Aqua Tots Swim School is currently seeking a Swim Instructor to join our team. Requirements:

• Provide a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all the safety guidelines and Aqua-Tots procedures
• Attend monthly in-service training
• Track student swim progression throughout the levels
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests
• 4-6 hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 classes back to back
• Availability to work one weekend shift from 8:30am-3pm (Saturday or Sunday)

Combined with our 91 degree water, full-sized pools, children are provided the optimal learning environment. We are dedicated to developing our children into confident, life-long swimmers. WHAT DOES A SWIM INSTRUCTOR DO?

As a Swim Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students every day. You will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop their water safety skills and enhance their swimming abilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and implementing lesson plans, conducting group and individual lessons, and providing constructive feedback to students and their parents.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants in the pool area and maintaining a clean and organized teaching environment. No prior teaching experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to all new instructors. However, a passion for swimming, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with children are essential for success in this role.
