Aqua Tots Swim School is currently seeking a Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of children by teaching them how to swim in a fun and safe environment. In addition to the excitement of being a part of our team, this position is onsite, allowing you to work directly with our students at our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop water safety skills and improve swimming abilities.
• Create and implement lesson plans; conduct group and individual lessons; provide constructive feedback to students and their parents.
• Ensure the safety of all participants in the pool area and maintain a clean, organized teaching environment.
• Track student swim progression through levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Work 4-6 hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 classes back to back.
• Availability to work one weekend shift from 8:30am-3pm (Saturday or Sunday).

Requirements

What does a Swim Instructor do?

You will teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop water safety skills and enhance their swimming abilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating and implementing lesson plans, conducting group and individual lessons, and providing constructive feedback to students and their parents.

You will also be responsible for ensuring safety in the pool area and maintaining a clean and organized teaching environment. No prior teaching experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is provided. A passion for swimming, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with children are essential.
