Village Health Clubs and Spas in Phoenix, AZ seeks a dedicated swim coach to support member retention and program delivery for swim teams and activities. The role involves assisting with clinics and lessons, recruiting members, and ensuring a welcoming aquatic environment.
The candidate should have swim coaching experience, CPR certification within 30 days, and a proactive, energetic attitude. Evenings and weekends may be required; a lifeguard or USA Swimming certification is preferred.

Assist in the long-term retention of memberships by assisting with swim team programs and activities for existing member participation and to attract new members.
This position requires frequent swimming, standing, walking, grasping, bending and kneeling in regards to swim instruction.
Including the ability to climb pool ladders.
Sitting for some periods of time.
Substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the body, twisting, stretching, reaching, pulling and pushing.
Involved in activities where one must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
Requires the ability to receive detailed information through written and oral communication.
Swimming, walking and standing are required daily. Frequently lift and/or us force up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or use force up to 50 pounds
This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: watching members in a pool setting and coaching lessons
Work is performed in an athletic club environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high and in hot weather
