Job summary

A local swim school in Mundelein is looking for a Swim Instructor to teach children proper swim techniques and water safety. This role offers full training, a supportive environment, and opportunities for leadership. Candidates should enjoy working with kids and have excellent communication skills. Requirements

• Ability to work with children, no formal swim experience required, full training provided
• Must be willing to work in the water for 3-4 hours on some shifts
• Must be able to work 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday- 4 hour shift) and evenings (until 8:00pm)
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Full Time

• 20 Hours or more (up to 30 available)
• Set work schedule, with changes quarterly to accommodate for work/life schedule if needed

Summary

Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Certificates and Licenses

Training available on site. Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
