Job summary

US Fitness in Hampton, VA is seeking a passionate Swim Instructor to deliver private, semi-private, and group lessons for members of all ages and skill levels.

You will tailor instruction to each swimmer’s goals, maintain a safe, welcoming environment, enforce club policies, and promote programs while supporting trainings.

This full-time role requires CPR/AED, a high school diploma or GED, and enthusiasm for helping learners build confidence through fun, structured lessons.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, listening, and positive, member-first energy.
• Strong swimming and teaching skills; first-aid know-how.
• Organized, punctual, detail-oriented; professional appearance.
• Swim instruction/coaching and/or working with children preferred.
• CPR/AED required.
• High school diploma or GED.
