Job description

The Swim Instructor provides swim lessons to participants of all ages and abilities. Working under close supervision for routine situations, this role teaches swimming techniques according to American Red Cross guidelines and makes safety a top priority.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting swimming lessons for individuals and small groups, catering to varying skill levels and ages.
2. Helping monitor and track participants' progress through proper documentation to provide customized feedback and guidance for areas of improvement.
3. Teaching water safety principles, swimming techniques, and stroke development based on lesson objectives.
4. Enforcing ground rules, safety rules, and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
5. Ensuring cleanliness in the pool area by storing away proper equipment and disposing of trash.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
