PRO Swim Academy in Elk Grove Village, IL is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor to teach swimming lessons and promote water safety for children from 4 months to 13 years old.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 5 hours in the water.

• Must be 15 years or older for all positions; Lead Instructor 18+.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons with a focus on safety and fun.
• Provide high-quality instruction and positive feedback to students and families.
• Assist with lifeguard certifications and professional development opportunities.
• Participate in training and staff seminars to improve teaching techniques.

Swim Instructor Pay:

• Competitive starting rate of $14-$18/hour

Instructor Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 5 hours in the water
• Ability to lift, hold, and/or move equipment or small child up to 50 pounds
• Must be 15 years or older to all positions
• Must be 18 years or older for Lead Instructor
• Afternoons and weekends required
• Enjoy working with children from ages 4 months-13yrs
