A local swim school in Dallas is looking for fun, positive swim instructors to teach children from ages 6 months to 13 years. Responsibilities include ensuring safety during lessons and building water confidence in students. Paid training starts at $13 per hour, with opportunities for growth. Must be 16 or older with afternoon or weekend availability.

You don’t need to be an Olympic swimmer to teach swim lessons, here at the Jim Montgomery Swim School we train all people how to be an effective swim instructor. At JMSS we focus on teaching children of all ages and abilities to learn how to be safer, in and around the water. We are looking for fun, positive people who love to work with kids! As a swim instructor you are responsible for the safety of each class and teaching swim skills from the basics to our advanced swimmers using our curriculum. You will work to build water confidence within your students and encourage each student to rise to the best of their abilities. You can expect to be regularly communicating with students and fellow staff members as well as ongoing training throughout your employment.

We offer swim lessons from the age of 6 month - 13 years old and have lessons from parent/child to our pre-competitive swim team. Paid hands on training is provided for all instructors starting at $13 an hour and the opportunity for growth within our company.

Monday - Friday: 9am - 12pm & 3:30pm - 7pm

Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm

Sunday: 9:30am - 1:30pm
