Job summary

A leading wellness and fitness services company is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to teach swimming lessons for both adults and children. Responsibilities include evaluating swim abilities, maintaining cleanliness in Aquatics Facilities, and providing a safe environment for members. The ideal candidate will have strong swimming skills, be communicative, and possess CPR and Lifeguard certifications within the first 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Experience in swim instruction or coaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pool area.
• Promote and sell Aquatics programs and services.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will help both adults and children improve their swimming. You will teach life skills to our youngest members and evaluate their swimming ability to establish the correct swim level. You will help to maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events
• Respond to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Provide a safe, clean, and organized pool area
• Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
• Complete and pass all Life Time courses when hired
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to routinely lift more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
