The Bridgewater Club is a private club with a fun work environment. We are looking for an experienced Swim Instructor to start in August who is passionate about water safety and teaching children ages 2 to 14 and potentially older. We offer 30‑minute private and/or semi‑private lessons from beginner to advanced, as well as stroke development. Bridgewater’s Swim Instructors must have excellent organizational skills and provide outstanding customer service. They also must be high energy, inspiring, fun, outgoing and enjoy working with children!

Schedule

We are currently looking for a year‑round instructor. Bridgewater offers flexible schedules and competitive pay.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi‑private lessons according to Bridgewater’s Swim School guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests.
• Maintain required lesson records and forms.
• Communicate and enforce all water safety rules.

Qualifications & Skills

• Work history in swim lesson instruction.
• Professional and organized.
• Friendly outgoing personality.
• Ability to work with children.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic.

Requirements

• 16 years & older.
• 1+ years of experience teaching formal swim lessons or working in a similar field.
• Knowledge of swimming strokes and teaching levels.
• Competitive swimming background a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work without supervision.
• Pass a background check prior to training (for ages 18+).
