Des Plaines Park District is seeking a part-time Swim Coach to lead practices and oversee the swim team operations. You will supervise coaches and swimmers, arrange line-ups for meets, and coordinate parent volunteers for home events.
Responsibilities include managing equipment, assisting with meet setup and breakdown, and communicating with the Aquatic Manager and families. CPR/First Aid and IL driver’s license required.

Supervises:
The Swim Coach is responsible for the administration and day to day operations of the Des Plaines Park District Swim Team.
Education: High school graduate or G.E.D.
Experience: 21 years of age or older, preferred. Minimum of one years’ experience in coaching competitive swimming or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Strong knowledge of competitive swimming.
Certifications: Must be able to obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification. Valid Illinois Driver’s License.
