Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier to handle cash and serve customers at our unit. You will identify items, process payments, issue receipts, refunds, and maintain accurate cash handling and sales reconciliation.

You must have basic education, strong math skills, and the ability to communicate with guests while upholding high sanitation and appearance standards. Prior cash handling training is a plus and safety awareness is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify items and cost; tabulate bills quickly and accurately using cash register, calculator, or price equipment.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credit, or change due to customers accurately.
• Maintain cash register and contents; turn in cash drawer and sales reconciliation at shift end.
• Smile and greet customers; answer questions and provide information on products, promotions, and policies.
• Thank each customer.
• Maintain clean and orderly cash station area; stock and maintain sales area with supplies and products.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the retail operation.
• Report safety issues to manager.
