Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a reliable sweeper operator for our North America operations in New York. You will clean and maintain plant, yard, and roadway surfaces, remove debris, and support safe, efficient operations on site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate sweeper equipment to clean and maintain plant, yard, and roadway surfaces
• Remove debris, dust, and material buildup to support safe and efficient operations
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on sweeper equipment
• Follow site safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance needs promptly
• Support general site housekeeping and assist with other operational tasks as needed

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
