American Crystal Sugar Company is looking for an entry level Cleaner to join our Hillsboro, ND facility. The role involves day shift cleaning tasks including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and general janitorial duties in a factory setting.

A safety screen must be completed prior to employment, and applicants must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Compensation begins at $23.98 per hour with day shifts.

Position Overview

Entry Level $23.98 Day shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• The Dayshift Cleaner performs general cleaning, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, garbage hauling, and janitorial duties as assigned using proper tools for the factory setting.
• Responsible for dust abatement throughout the facility, including around all equipment, building structural steel, and other specific areas.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or a GED certificate is required.
• Individuals are required to submit to and successfully pass a Safety Screen that evaluates their ability to safely execute the duties and tasks of this position.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

• Must be able to stand/walk, push/pull, bend/stoop, kneel, crawl, or sit frequently.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 40 pounds frequently.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $23.98 - $23.98 /hr
