Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
SweatHouz is hiring a Studio Manager to open SweatHouz Tuscan Village in Salem, NH. You’ll build a sales and hosting team from day one, drive presales, and set the standard for guest experience as the studio launches ahead of the holiday season.
After opening, you run the studio on the floor, manage the schedule and numbers, coach your associates on their pitch, and hit monthly revenue targets. This role rewards hands-on leadership and a track record of growing memberships.
We're hiring a Studio Manager to open SweatHouz Tuscan Village in Salem, NH.
SweatHouz is the fastest-growing recovery franchise in the world — 100+ open locations and 300+ licenses sold — bringing contrast therapy (infrared sauna + cold plunge) to people through private suite experiences. Tuscan Village joins our group of Boston-area SweatHouz studios in Burlington, South Boston, Chestnut Hill and Hingham, and it opens this November.
A quick note before you read on. Most job posts are a list of duties. We wrote this one so the right person reads it and thinks "that's me," and everyone else saves us both some time.
This is a studio opening, so you're not inheriting a team — you're building one. You'll hire and train your first sales associates, help drive presales before the doors open, and set the standard from day one.
Once we're open, you run the studio from the floor, not a back office. Most of your week is the business itself — the team, the schedule, the numbers — but you'll also tour first-timers, close memberships, and coach your sales associates on their pitch, because that's how you know what's actually working. Then you look at the numbers and decide what this week needs in order to hit the monthly goals.
You are the standard. The team's energy, the state of the suites, the conversion rate on tours — within about 60 days, all of it looks like you.
You want to manage from a desk. The Studio Manager is the best salesperson and the best host in the building, not the person behind a door.
Sales targets make you flinch. We love wellness too, but this studio has monthly sales goals and a revenue target, and you'll be measured on both, every month.
You want a studio that's already built. Opening a studio means long days, moving pieces, and building systems as you go. If you need everything in place before you start, this isn't the one.
You need your schedule handed to you. You build the schedule, you keep the studio fully staffed, and when a Saturday shift goes uncovered, that's you. Peak hours include evenings and weekends.
You wait to be told. If something's broken — a process, a pattern in the numbers, a suite that keeps getting missed — we expect you to have started fixing it before anyone asks.
If that list sounds exhausting, no hard feelings — this isn't your job. If it sounds like a normal Tuesday, keep reading.
The opening: Hire and train your founding team, drive presales, and get the studio launch-ready for a strong opening heading into the holiday season.
Player/coach: Lead by example on the SweatHouz sales and operating model. Welcome prospects, deliver a premium experience, and convert them into members — then teach your team to do it as well as you do.
The team: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of sales associates who hit monthly targets and take care of members. Fully staffed, always.
The studio: Own cleanliness and consistency so every visit feels elevated, whether it's a member's first session or their hundredth.
The neighborhood: Tuscan Village is Salem's newest place to live, shop, eat and work out — right off I-93, minutes from the Mass border. You'll be out in it: partnerships with neighboring businesses, local gyms and studios, events, and the kind of relationships that fill a new studio fast.
The leadership table: Join a weekly leadership meeting with our other Studio Managers to review performance and build plans that actually get executed.

"Growth opportunities" is filler in most job ads. Here it's a track record: our Studio Managers have grown into multi-studio training and operations roles. We're still opening locations, and we promote the people who prove it at one. Opening a studio is the fastest way to prove it.
Someone who's been told they're a little intense, and took it as a compliment. You keep score even when nobody's asking. You like a month with a number on it. You've sold memberships and you're good at it. You live the lifestyle you're selling. And you'd rather lead a team than manage one.
