The role:
We're seeking talented and passionate software craftspeople to join our client's team. You'll thrive in both collaborative and independent environments, ensuring software aligns with design specifications through meticulous testing and documentation. Your expertise in modern development methodologies will be instrumental in strategically crafting the software's core. You'll analyze system-wide needs and translate them into actionable plans for individual components, ensuring a cohesive and efficient final product.


What you'll need:

  1. BS + fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in similar roles; experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for degrees.

Experience with:

  1. Python development
  2. Container and container orchestration experience using GitOps – agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab experience
  3. API development experience such as gRPC, Corba, REST, etc;
  4. Linux / Unix experience; High-speed, distributed processing application development experience.
  5. Leadership of one or more software development teams and collaboration with system & hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

Nice to haves:

  1. Certified Kubernetes administrator (preferred).
  2. High-speed networking and network protocol experience (preferred).

Clearance requirement: TS/SCI w/FS Poly REQUIRED for consideration. No CCAs, sponsorships or upgrades.


Location/telework: Onsite work is located in Annapolis Junction, MD (NBP) with up to 16 hours of telework (dependent on position).


Compensation: For qualified candidates, salaries can reach 250k with an extra week of PTO, new computer, 10% contribution to 401k provided (no matching necessary), and fully-paid health insurance.
