Job summary

Unknown is seeking an Advanced Special Reconnaissance Surface Maritime Instructor based at JEB Little Creek/Ft. Story, VA, with SECRET clearance.

The role focuses on delivering advanced SR instruction to SBTs within the Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community and requires strong curriculum and logistical planning capabilities. The candidate must have five years of SWCC experience within the last ten years, hold SWCC Senior qualification per NAVSPECWAR guidelines, and possess five years

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC).
• NAVY/NSW Instructor with at least five years of experience.
• SWCC Senior qualification per COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E; must be active and not removed for administrative reasons.
• Familiar with SIGNATURE MANAGEMENT NTTPs and general NSW combatant craft operations including radar, optics and intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced SR instruction to SBTs related to current and emerging SR operations.
• Assist TRADET-4 with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning for the IDTC.
• Liaise with NSWG4 N3 and N8 and other Special Operations entities to identify and integrate emerging technologies into the SBT IDTC.
• Support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV combat systems integration, scheduling, and field training.

Position Title: Advanced Special Reconnaissance Surface Maritime Instructor

Location: JEB Little Creek/Ft. Story, VA

Clearance Level: Secret

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced special reconnaissance instruction to SBTs related to current and emerging SR operations conducted within the Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community. Assist TRADET-4 with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning throughout the IDTC.
• Assist with liaison support with NSWG4 N3 and N8, as well as other Special Operations entities to identify and integrate emerging technologies into the SBT IDTC.
• Must possess a minimum of five years’ experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC), with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E. Applicant’s SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
• 5 years’ experience as NAVY/NSW Instructor.

Instructors will support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management and performance as opposing forces (OP4), as necessary.

• 2 years’ experience in NSW Combatant craft signature management and Maritime Special Reconnaissance mission execution.

Familiar with SIGNATURE MANAGEMENT NTTPs and Combatant Craft specific SOPs. Coordination with functional departments including NSWG-4 N2, N32, and N8 for integration, application, and oversight of current and emerging capabilities IOT assist in the development of new curriculum and TTPs. Must have background in operation of RADAR, optics and intelligence capabilities.
