Job summary

Responsibilities

• Produce swatches and label them.
• Apply new grade labels to swatches.
• Cut, serge, sew, label, and grommet swatches as assigned.

Position Summary

The Swatch Sewing Associate is responsible for producing swatches and labeling them. Additionally, the Swatch Sewing Associate may assist with finish chips.

Position Details

• Apply new grade labels to swatches
• Pull swatch sets and prepare for shipping
• Cut, serge, sew, label, and grommet swatches, as assigned
• Assist with finish chips
• May assist in Market preparation, as needed
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• Assist with other Swatch department duties as needed

• Basic math skills required
• Must have basic knowledge of computer programs
• Prior experience in a fabric swatch department
• Cut, serge, sew, label, and grommet swatches, as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand continuously throughout the shift; 8–9-hour shifts
• Must be able to sit, walk, bend, squat, kneel & twist throughout shift
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to reach overhead
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment
