Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures for IoT applications.
  • Ensure the IoT solutions are highly available, secure, and scalable.
  • Work with IoT communication protocols to ensure secure device connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and latency issues.
  • Implement secure communication methods.
  • Monitor and address IoT-specific security threats.
  • Create and maintain pipelines for deploying IoT solutions in cloud environments.
  • Ensure version control and software updates for deployed IoT solutions.
  • Secure databases and support security audits.
  • Establish metrics collection and anomaly detection for IoT data pipelines.

Qualifications Required:

  • BE, MSc, MCA in Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • 10-15 years of related experience.

Knowledge / Skills:

Essential:

  • Degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as an Architect.
  • Experience with scripting languages for cloud automation and deployment.
  • Experience with Azure Identity Management and security.
  • Previous work with complex integrations and performance tuning in cloud environments.
  • Ability to guide and support stakeholders and vendors.
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL Database and PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to translate business visions into technical design solutions.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Experience in architecture, with a minimum of 2 years in any IoT platform.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of software lifecycle management.

Desirable:

  • Certification as an Azure Architect Expert is advantageous.
  • Exposure to PTC ThingWorx

The base pay range for this position is

Min $116,500 - Max $174,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
