Job Overview

Using engineering principles to create software, responsible for the company’s software applications function including analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or personal applications products (e.g., spreadsheets, tax packages, personal finance programs). Participates in the software development life cycle by connecting client's needs with applicable technology solutions. May also have responsibility for testing and documentation. Analyzes and investigates applications engineering tasks and prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Creates systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Build great software
  • Collaborate on complex problems with minimal supervision; contribute in meaningful and collaborative ways towards a positive and educational code review environment
  • Complete projects of moderate scope independently
  • Design and write code that meets Net Health’s requirements for quality, performance, and usefulness within project timelines
  • Excel in an Agile environment as a member of a cross-functional team that owns its own work from refinement through delivery and monitoring
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide options for possible solutions
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team, alongside Net Health’s Product and QA teams, to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Work on new feature development as well as maintenance projects and defect fixes
  • Work with Product team to provide guidance on project requirements
  • Work with your team to ensure we’re following best practices for continuous integration, test and release automation, paying back technical debt
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
Required Software Experience
  • Service-based software development (such as SaaS, Agile)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Pipeline Driven Deployment
  • Experience with SQL Server

Salary Range: $96,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD
