Your New Role

This role is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive global WBD Talent Strategy that integrates Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent Management (TM) to build a high-performing, agile, and future-ready workforce. The leader in this role will drive enterprise-wide talent initiatives that align with business goals, fostering a culture of continuous growth, leadership excellence, and career development. They will also be responsible for identifying innovative technological solutions to enhance the overall experience that employees and leaders have in this space.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Talent Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement an integrated Talent Strategy that aligns with business objectives, workforce needs, and future capabilities. Partner with P&C Leads and the other P&C COEs to ensure it is connected to all areas of P&C.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on talent-related priorities, workforce planning, and skills development.
  • Collaborate with P&C Leads, senior executives, and functional leaders on development and implementation of talent and learning strategies.
  • Learning & Development (L&D)
  • Reset our Learning & Development Strategy and shift to more of an informed, intentional L&D strategy that allows for virtual and in-person offerings.
  • Oversee the design and execution of L&D programs that support leadership development, technical skills, and future-ready capabilities.
  • Drive enterprise-wide initiatives such as executive development, high-potential programs, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Champion a culture of learning, leveraging innovative and scalable solutions (e.g., digital learning, experiential learning, AI-driven development).
  • Ensure learning initiatives are data-driven and linked to measurable business impact.
  • Talent Management
  • Redesign and lead the development and execution of the Organizational Talent Review process, ensuring robust succession planning for critical roles. This will also include the plan for how we develop and manage development and succession plans for top 2 levels in the organization.
  • Drive the roll out of our new performance management strategy that drives accountability, feedback culture, and career growth. Develop mechanisms to gather insights to determine a 3-year maturity plan.
  • Lead effort to develop Talent/Skills based Marketplace – integrate into our Talent Strategy.
  • Partner with People & Culture Leads and business leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent pipelines.
  • Align talent development efforts with P&C and Cultural goals, ensuring equitable access to growth opportunities.
  • Organizational Effectiveness & Leadership Development
  • Build leadership and managerial capability across all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee the design of programs that accelerate leader readiness and drive business transformation.
  • Act as a key partner in change management efforts, ensuring talent and learning strategies enable business agility.
  • Measurement & Insights
  • Define key success metrics for talent programs and ensure continuous evaluation for impact and ROI.
  • Leverage workforce data and predictive analytics to drive talent decisions.
  • Implement industry best practices and innovations to enhance talent effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in Talent Strategy, L&D, and Talent Management.
  • Proven success in designing and executing enterprise-wide talent programs.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives and leveraging AI/technology in talent development.
  • Strong understanding of workforce trends, leadership development, and skills of the future.
