Base pay range

$300,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr

A multi-brand apparel manufacturer and distributor is seeking an SVP of Sales & Merchandising to join their team in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business in the mid-tier/off-price retail space
  • Lead the sales organization with focus on strategic brand placement
  • Oversee a team across design and production
  • Conduct extensive competitive research and understand consumer lifestyle to align with brand vision
  • Develop retailer specific programs and account plans
  • Partner with merchandising and design to develop proper line assortment
  • Monitor product performance
  • Drive innovative ideas to support sales growth opportunities
  • Maintain key relationships with retailers
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the US retail market

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with existing buyer relationships
  • Denim experience is required
  • Deep knowledge and skill in developing strategic business plans and budgeting
  • Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication and presentation skills
